Easy to Use
The elegant design and user friendly features of Forerunner 210 make it a very useful GPS enabled training watch. Your attention is never diverted by the complexities of performance measuring tool, and you remain focused on your target. You just need to charge the device and take it to open space for finding the GPS signals. Once it receives GPS signals, you have to answer a few setup questions. Now, you are ready to push the start button of your run. The moment you press the stop button after finishing your run, it reveals important performance variables of your run. In fact, you will never face any difficulty in using this watch.
Take It Further
The features of Forerunner 210 will never disappoint any runner who is looking for a training watch with more training capabilities. The advance training features of forerunner 210 can let you customize your training sessions and track the pace during each of these intervals or sessions. When the data is uploaded to Garmin Connect™, your forerunner 210 provides more detailed analysis of your performance, and you can even analyze your cadence or steps per minute by pairing it with the optional foot pod.
Follow Your Heart
Garmin Forerunner 210 works seamlessly with our soft strap heart-rate monitor to track heart rate in beats per minute. However, heart-rate monitor is an optional choice. You can purchase forerunner 210 with our heart-rate monitor or without it and use your existing compatible heart-rate monitor to pair with it. Our premium quality heart-rate monitor provides five heart rate zones that can be customized as per your exact zones. The alert notification options of forerunner 210 allow you to set alerts when your heart rate rises above or drops below the targets. Forerunner 210 also indicates the amount of total calories burned during the workout by using heart rate based calorie calculations.
Outdoor or Indoor
The real strength of Forerunner 210 lies in its operational flexibility and freedom to exercise anywhere. You don’t have to bother about the blockage of GPS signals. The optional foot pod makes forerunner 210 to be the right training watch for those runners who desire the flexibility of running at indoor stadiums or treadmills. During the outdoor activities, GPS tracking system provides accurate performance data, but the sophisticated accelerometer technology used in our foot pod also ensure precise tracking of distance, time and pace while you exercise at the gym or participate in indoor activities. All you need to do is just snap the foot pod¹ onto your shoe for monitoring your indoor performance. The accuracy of distance and speed data of our accelerometer technology is more than 90 percent without any user customization.
The high-accuracy level of forerunner 210, right out of the box, and compatibility with indoor fitness equipments make it an ideal choice for performance tracking during indoor cycling or treadmill workouts. This flexibility of using it anywhere plugs the gap between indoor and outdoor activities, and you can sustain your performance without any hiccups. You can see a detailed list of compatible equipment and fitness facilities.

Forerunner 210 also features health monitoring capabilities. In combination with Tanita BC-1000 body composition scale, your forerunner 210 can provide measurements for weight, body fat, body water and six other useful health measurements. The health readings are also uploaded to Garmin Connect when 210 is within range of your computer.
Fast and Accurate
Forerunner 210 incorporates another very sophisticated technology, known as HotFix® satellite prediction that has been developed to quickly lock the sport watch onto satellites. This technology eliminates the delay in searching satellite signals, and you are ready to go the very moment you step out of the door. The high-sensitivity GPS receiver of 210 ensures that you don’t face any problem due to tree cover and tall buildings, and stay locked onto the satellite.
