“Sometimes as runners we fall flat on our “faces”. On Sunday I attempted my second half marathon and I got swept at mile 6. I knew that was most likely going to happen since I didn’t train for this race like I should have and I didn’t take into account the concrete sucking the energy out of me. I don’t regret trying because to me I rather get swept than never try the race. This race for me was an amazing learning experience. I hope other runners know it’s ok to “fail” as long as you keep going that is all that matters.“
